In 2013, Chad Borodychuk,  President and Co-Founder of Olivia Kay Foundation, had a deep desire to bring honor to his daughter Olivia through helping other children with severe multiple impairments as well.  He knew that the only way to effectively raise funds was to have a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization as a platform to raise the funds necessary in order to provide help for physical, emotional, and financial support to those children and their families.  With a background in business, he along with his wife Lisa, decided to go for it.  In 2014, he filed the articles of incorporation and he and his wife Lisa began putting the pieces together.
